School Lice Policies

Schools in Germantown and Collierville require that children be treated for head lice before returning to the classroom.

Schools in Provo do not have a “no nit” school lice policy. If a student is found to be affected, parents are notified and the student may be checked out or remain in school at the parents’ discretion.

Schools in Murfreesboro do not hold to a strict “no nit” policy, however, children with live lice may be sent home for treatment.
