Madeleine Sowash, MD, FAAD specializes in general and surgical dermatology. She was born and raised in Austin, Texas. For undergraduate, she attended the University of Cambridge where she earned an honors degree in biological natural sciences with specialization in virology, parasitology, and microbiology. Dr. Sowash then attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed a combined internal medicine-dermatology residency at MedStar Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center, serving as chief resident in her final year. Over her medical career, she has completed a variety of basic science and clinical research in dermatology and related fields. Dr. Sowash provides comprehensive dermatologic care to patients from all backgrounds and at all stages of life. She believes that every patient deserves to feel the outward radiance and inward confidence that comes with healthy skin.
