Both of these districts have no nit lice policies but Marana’s school lice policy is bit more lenient than Oro Valley’s.
MARANA- NO NIT LICE POLICY
While the Marana schools website states that “Children with head lice will be excluded from school until the hair has been treated and all the eggs (nits) have been removed”, under the district Health Services page, it states that “it is recommended that children not return to school until lice treatment has been initiated”. This suggests that the school will allow children to return to school with nits if the student has had lice treatment.

ORO VALLEY- NO NIT LICE POLICY
Oro Valley school district policy is as follows: “Children with head lice will be excluded from school until the hair has been treated and all eggs (nits) have been removed”. Oro Valley district does not allow students with head lice or nits to remain or return to school until they are clear.
