School Lice Policies

Schools in the Burbank and Glendale areas hold to a no-lice policy rather than the previously enforced no-nit policy.

Schools in the Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and Malibu areas no longer adhere to strict no-nit policies, but if live lice are present students will not be allowed to attend classes.

It can be challenging to determine what course of action is required if your child develops a case of head lice, so it is always prudent to check with the health management team at your child’s school. Schools in the Longmont area may not adhere to a strict no-nit policy.
