School Lice Policies

Schools in San Marcos and Kyle no longer adhere to strict “no nit” lice policies. Students will not miss valuable class instruction time due to the presence of nits.

Schools in Sparks do not restrict children from school, transportation, or activities because of the presence of lice or nits.

Head lice policies can vary from district to district, even if they are very close to one another. Schools in Bethlehem do not enforce "no nit" policies while schools in Easton do retain a strict “no nit” policy.
