Schools in Mount Pleasant do not enforce a strict “no nit” policy. Students are not excluded from school if they have head lice.

Schools can vary in how they respond to head lice, even if they are near one another. Schools in Upper Darby do not hold to strict “no nit” policies, while schools in Havertown do have a “no nit” policy.
