Our aim is to give you peace of mind. We are confident that our treatment plan works; after all we have successfully treated over 450,000 clients. We want you to be confident as well. While your technician is treating you, she will show you the nits (lice eggs) that she has found so that you are educated as to what they look like.
When your technician leaves your home, you are no longer contagious; it is that simple. You are guaranteed to be lice and nit-free when you adhere to the simple follow-up treatment plan given to you by your technician. In the extremely unlikely event that you still have an active case of head lice after completion of the follow-up plan, we will treat you free of charge.
It is normal to find some nits in the days immediately following treatment; the follow-up will eradicate those. In the event that you find a live bug(s), just add more oil to the hair that night and the bug(s) will die. Every treatment service requires some follow-up and LiceDoctors’ protocol was developed by our on-staff physician and medical director after comprehensive research. Your treatment combined with the follow-up will eradicate all lice infestations. Please note that If you choose to go to another treatment service before giving our treatment a chance to work, we will not refund your money.
Occasionally, a client will be concerned that she or he has uncovered nits in the hair after the follow-up plan is complete. In virtually every instance, what she is seeing is not nits but rather debris or DEC plugs. Nits are brown when placed against a white background and are round on one side and pointy on the other with an antenna. DEC plugs are white and sticky and blend into a white background; they are secretions from oil glands and are NOT an indication of head lice.

If we determine that what you are seeing is to be expected, we will let you know, so that you can rest easy.
If you insist on a recheck despite our assurance and experience before the follow-up plan is completed, you will be charged a reduced rate of $150 for the first hour and then $99 per hour thereafter.
NOTE: The guarantee only applies to families who have been fully treated by our technician. If you opted out of the full treatment (which we advise against), then you signed a waiver and are not entitled to a free re-visit. If you insist on a revisit and your treatment was not guaranteed, you will be charged the full rate.
