Schools in Waukesha and New Berlin have come into alignment with recommendations from the National Association of School Nurses and no longer advocate for “no nit” policies.

“If your child has been diagnosed with a nuisance infestation/disease such as head lice or scabies, he/she may return to school after treatment has been completed. Please contact your health care provider for instruction if you suspect your child needs treatment.”
