Lice Removal Philadelphia – Success Stories
“Eeeek! Lice! While on a three week vacation, I discovered that my 3 children had lice. I dropped everything and raced to the drugstore. Three days, one shaved head, and over $200 later, I was still combing heads, hiding out, and doing laundry like it was my job. That’s when I found a louse on my head. I tearfully googled for lice help and found the LiceDoctors. Thank goodness! Stephanie was able to meet us the same day. She checked and cleared the heads of me and my children, checked family members that we were staying with, and best of all…gave me my sanity back. She was confident, kind, knowledgeable, and the method was safe. We were able to continue our vacation and visit a theme park and museums that we had planned to see, without fear of spreading lice. My only regret is that I didn’t call LiceDoctors first. It was so much simpler than attempting to solve the problem myself.” Adriana D. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Google Plus, 5 stars
“We were in the car when my daughter started to scream. A bug had crawled out of her hair and she has a phobia of bugs. Turns out it was a lice. She was hysterical as only teenagers can be. Fortunately, I was prepared for this event as I had dreaded it for years. I knew that the company to call was LiceDoctors. I was so pleased with the service that I just had to send you this note. Jodi managed to calm my daughter, which, believe me, was no easy feat. Jodi was a true ‘expert’ on lice and was so calm and hardworking. You have a gem with her. Thank you so much for saving the day!” Meryl F. in Villanova, PA
“Our doctor recommended you guys…said you were the best. He was right. This whole process was handled by you to perfection from the initial call we made to you to the tech who came to the simple follow-up plan you gave us. My whole family was happy…money well spent!” Sam T. in Bala Cynwyd, PA
“MONEY WELL SPENT!!!! When I discovered that my three daughters had lice I was super stressed. I called LiceDoctors in the morning and Stephanie arrived at my house the same day! I was so relieved to have a professional meticulously go through each head of hair to identify and get rid of any nits and louse. I feel confident with this one visit and our follow up treatment plan that we will be LICE FREE! Thanks Stephanie :-)” Joanne I. In Spring City, PA. 5 stars Yelp
“When we got home from our annual beach trip with my sister and her family, I discovered that my 3 kids all had head lice. When I called my sister, she said hers did as well. While we didn’t know where the lice had come from, we did know what to do about it. Several of her friends had used LiceDoctors and that’s what we did too. Within a day, everything was under control. We are so appreciative.” Patty J. in Wayne, Pennsylvania
“The minute that Chris walked through the door, I knew I was in good, experienced hands. She was patient and thorough and my girls are so happy to be free of those critters. I told our pediatrician about LiceDoctors and she just called to thank me!” Jessica J in Philadelphia, PA

How Long Does It Take For Lice To Be Visible?
If My Children Were Just Exposed to Head Lice Is It too Soon For Them To Be Checked?
We received a call today from a mom in Philadelphia whose children had been exposed to head lice over the weekend. They had spent the weekend with their friends and after they returned home, this mom got a call that the friends had been found to have head lice. This mom was very concerned that her children might have nits but wanted to know if it is still too soon after exposure for her kids to be checked.
Never Too Early To Get Checked
If you have been exposed to head lice, it is never too early to be checked. If you have picked up a case of lice, chances are there is still a bug in your hair. That bug is laying eggs (nits) at a rate of 6-10 per day. There is no reason to wait. If we find head lice, we will remove the bug(s) before your case gets worse. If we don’t find lice in your hair, we will get you started on a simple, all-natural follow-up plan. What that means is IF you have nits (eggs) that are still too small to be seen you will be proactively treating your lice case before it becomes full-blown. In addition, you will have peace of mind! We all know how important that is. Also, keep in mind that you cannot catch nits, you can only catch lice bugs and these bugs scurry very quickly away from the light making it hard for the untrained eye to detect.
It is also important to keep in mind that some people never have itchy scalps or show any symptoms of head lice. So if you are waiting for your child to start scratching, that may not happen. Some people are very itchy from a few lice bites while others have several bugs in the hair and do not feel anything.
LiceDoctors recommends that if you think that your child may have head lice, give us a call. An experienced lice technician can help you out. Lots of families in the Philadelphia area have used us and are happy that they did. Call LiceDoctors in the Philadelphia area today at 215-344-1413.
