# LiceDoctors

> LiceDoctors is an in-home head lice treatment and removal service in the United States. A trained lice technician comes to the client's home and treats everyone in the household in one visit, using a chemical-free oil-and-comb method with a 30-day guarantee. Appointments run 7 AM to midnight (Eastern Time), 365 days a year, usually the same day. The treatment protocol is overseen by a board-certified dermatologist.

## Pricing

- Billed by time, not per person: $199 for the first hour and $179 for each additional hour, in 15-minute increments. One rate covers the whole household.
- Most families pay $450 to $480 in total; a typical visit takes 2.5 to 3 hours.
- California: $210 for the first hour, $185 for each additional hour.
- New Jersey, Connecticut and parts of the New York City boroughs: $199 for the first hour, $185 for each additional hour.
- Manhattan: $225 for the first hour, $210 for each additional hour, two-hour minimum.
- The Hamptons: $260 per hour, two-hour minimum.
- A $20 fee applies to Sunday appointments, and a holiday fee may apply on major holidays. A two-hour minimum applies when the technician travels more than 30 miles.
- Eligible for FSA and HSA accounts. LiceDoctors can provide a receipt with a diagnosis code for insurance reimbursement.
