Additional Likely Ways to Get Head Lice - Part 2

Here's the thing about getting lice: lice are just a natural part of today’s family life. In fact, they are so common that most schools have eliminated their “no nit” policies, thereby allowing children with lice to remain in school. The reason for that: too many children were missing too much school for a “non illness” Below are some of the many activities that we engage in in every day life where lice may be spread. Remember lice are transmitted through head-to-head contact so if humans are together in close contact and one has some lice, chances are another person will get it. Our hope in writing this is not to scare you, but rather to eliminate the stigma associated with head lice by showing how easily spread they are and by emphasizing that ANYONE can get lice; no one is immune and hygiene is irrelevant.
