Becoming a LiceDoctors Technician

October 22, 2019

Of all the things I dreamt of becoming, lice technician was certainly not on the list.  When I heard about LiceDoctors through a friend, something told me to check it out.  So I did and I have never looked back.

There are a lot of reasons that I love my job as a lice technician.  The first (and most important) is that I have the ability to help others

by providing a service for a problem they are desperate to get rid of. That service includes going to the client, thoroughly combing through everyone’s hair, and providing as much education to the client as possible.  We take it a step further and make sure that we are always up to date on our knowledge about lice in order to better educate the client.  It is very rewarding to know that you have a safe and totally effective solution to the client’s problem. We know that it works because we are out in the field everyday and we see the results!

Next is that everyone is always happy to see me!  It utilizes all of my customer service skills, and gives me the opportunity to earn as much (or as little) as I like at that moment.  I can take on as many jobs as I can handle at any given time.  I am a busy mom, wife, and student so being able to set my own schedule is important to me.
